I. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

Glig.com, owned by Mozanim B.V., provides the following service to you, subject to these Terms of Service (ToS). By using this website, you agree to this ToS, which may be revised at any time without prior notification. Please consult the ToS regularly.

II. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

Glig.com (Glig) offers a service that allows its visitors to create profiles, upload and share content, participate in forums, play games and a variety of other activities. The service is provided free of charge to its users. Expenses are paid for by running advertisements. Glig may offer premium (pro) services at some point in the future, but such options will always be voluntary and are not necessary to advance to the highest levels in the Glig level/experience system.

III. GENERAL TERMS

• The user remains responsible for all actions they take during their visit to the website, all comments, graphics, layouts or other content they upload. Glig is granted the right to re-distribute the content on its website and affiliated websites.
• No content may be used for commercial purposes or for re-distribution. Permission may be obtained from the contributor (or original artist) in case of user-generated content or from Glig in case of Glig-owned content.
• The user does not take part in or associate Glig with any illegal activity, including harassment, abuse, phishing, malware or spamming.
• User accounts may not be sold or shared with others. Passwords may not be given to anyone else, also not to people or sites that offer to improve your profile.
• Virtual currency (credits) and items may not be sold or exchanged for real-world currency.
• Users may not artificially inflate votes or attempt to cheat the system in other ways.
• Any account may be terminated at Glig's sole discretion at any time. Glig will, however, exercise maximum restraint in doing so.

IV. PRIVACY, MONITORING AND FREEDOM OF SPEECH

Glig implements a private-by-default policy: communications between users, both public and private, are generally not monitored, except when abuse reports have been filed. While Glig Moderators may monitor public areas such as forums and take pre-active action, it remains up to you - a member of the Glig community - to report incidents.

Glig cannot make any guarantees about the content on its site or its suitability for children. While most content will be considered relatively safe, no absolute certainty in this area exists. Parents and guardians are encouraged to monitor and participate in the internet activities of their children.

Glig strives to be as neutral as possible in areas such as politics and religion. No rules will be made to regulate such speech. Action will be taken only when such speech or the exercise thereof can objectively be considered harassment or otherwise a violation of the Terms of Service. The same applies to scrutiny of Glig, its rules and its administration.

While Glig fully respects freedom of speech and freedom of expression, the nature of this website means that not all potentially legal speech may be posted on Glig. This typically involves:

• Hate speech and/or incitement to violence
• Racism, supremacism, fundamentalism or any kind of extremism.
• Adult content (pornography, etc)

V. SPAMMING, PHISHING, MALWARE AND OTHER TYPES OF ABUSE

You accept that in cases of egregious abuse such as mass spamming, phishing, distributing malware, making serious (physical) threats, stalking or anything else that warrants serious and/or immediate attention of Glig staff, Glig will a) be allowed to share any relevant information with any necessary authorities and third parties and b) you will pay Glig a minimum handling fee of $200 (USD) per incident, where each potential victim, each compromised account and/or each spam message counts as a separate incident. The user shall also be liable for any expenses incurred by Glig that result from handling the incident(s).

VI. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT:

(a) YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. GLIG EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

(b) GLIG MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT (i) THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, (ii) THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, (iii) THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE, (iv) THE QUALITY OF ANY PRODUCTS, SERVICES, INFORMATION, OR OTHER MATERIAL PURCHASED OR OBTAINED BY YOU THROUGH THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS, AND (V) ANY ERRORS IN THE SOFTWARE WILL BE CORRECTED.

(c) ANY MATERIAL DOWNLOADED OR OTHERWISE OBTAINED THROUGH THE USE OF THE SERVICE IS DONE AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RISK AND THAT YOU WILL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR COMPUTER SYSTEM OR LOSS OF DATA OR OTHER LIABILITY THAT RESULTS FROM THE DOWNLOAD OF ANY SUCH MATERIAL.

(d) NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, OBTAINED BY YOU FROM GLIG OR THROUGH OR FROM THE SERVICE SHALL CREATE ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED IN THE TOS.

VII. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT GLIG SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES (EVEN IF GLIG HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES), RESULTING FROM: (i) THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE; (ii) THE COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS AND SERVICES RESULTING FROM ANY GOODS, DATA, INFORMATION OR SERVICES PURCHASED OR OBTAINED OR MESSAGES RECEIVED OR TRANSACTIONS ENTERED INTO THROUGH OR FROM THE SERVICE; (iii) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA; (iv) STATEMENTS OR CONDUCT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; OR (v) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE SERVICE.
